Located in the foothills of the Cantal Mountains, Les Sources is a former railway hotel with a rich history dating back to 1850. Our picturesque location offers breath-taking views and endless opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing. We pride ourselves on providing comfortable and unique accommodations for our guests to enjoy their stay in the French countryside.

Les Sources was built in the 19th century as the hotel, servicing the local railway station. We are at the heart of the Cantal Mountains, Auvergne. Our home is situated along a quiet lane just 1km from the village of Saint-Jacques-des-Blats. The village nestles in the foothills of the Plomb du Cantal at an altitude of 990m. It is rumoured to be named after the pilgrim ’St Jacques de Compostelle’ who passed through on his way to Cahors and beyond. Our house, in fact, sits directly on the restored and re-mapped pilgrimage route.
